Uzuriel stood there stunned, still trying to work out how Michaela could have beaten her to the gates. But even more troubling than her attempt to stop Uzuriel was Michaela's unwillingness to hear Uzuriel out. Uzuriel tries one last time to appeal to Michaela.
"Michaela, listen to me. We can't let the Forbidden Fruit fall into the hands of the humans. At least, not the way it is now... Can't you see how much suffering it will cause? Not just for humans, but for angels as well!" Uzuriel raised her voice as she went on, and she desparately tried to make Michaela understand.
"I have to eliminate any Forbidden Fruit that's in the human realm! Only when God makes the Fruit safe, will I allow it to fall into the hands of humans. But I can't let that happen as long as the Fruit is like this. That's it... There's nothing left for me to say. Now step aside!"
"Uzuriel, your opinion of the Fruit is of no importance to me. What's important right now is that you are needed in the Aura Kingdom, at God's side. You cannot be allowed to leave." It's as if Michaela hadn't heard a single word of Uzuriel's plea.
"Michaela... You... How can you be this stubborn?! Get out of my way!" Uzuriel charges angrily towards Michaela.
"Michaela, why can't you just listen for once? DO you have any idea how dangerous the Forbidden Fruit is in the human realm? Even some of us angels aren't able to withstand the Fruits' negative energy. How can we let something like that fall into the hands of humans?"
"I place my trust in God. He must have a plan for all of this." Michaela gazes skyward with a gentle expression.
"This is God's will. Please, turn back." Michaela brandishes her weapon, blocking Uzuriel's path stubbornly.
"You're unbelievable! Fine! If you won't move on your own, I'll have to make you! I'm sorry, Michaela, but I won't hold back!" Uzuriel's wings bristle as she prepares herself for a fight.
"It's unfortunate that you won't see reason. Still, I will execute my mission and bring you back to where you belong." Michaela refuses to back down.
"Wait! Stop!" Uriel suddenly flits in from above and lands between the two, interrupting their stand-off.
"What are you two thinking? You may have your differences, but there's no need to fight eachother! Uzuriel, I understand where you're coming from, but you need to keep your cool! And, Michaela, why can't you try listening instead of just hearing for once? You both just need to take a step back, okay?" Uriel vallantly tries to avert the impending scuffle.
"Uriel... Thank you. I'm sorry, but I have to leave the rest up to you now." Uzuriel takes one last fleeting glance at Uriel as he holds Michaela back, and seizes the opportunity to take wing, escaping the Aura Kingdom.
"Uriel, what were you thinking? You let Uzuriel escape... You helped her do it." Michaela glares at Uriel reproachfully.
"I wasn't helping her escape! I was just trying to make you two see reason!" Thanks to Uriel's interference, Uzuriel managed to flee the Aura Kingdom. What will become of Uriel and Michaela, who failed to stop her? That's a story for another day.
