Discord is a free voice and text chat suitable for gaming. Aura Kingdom Wiki uses Discord as a means of improved communication between members of the wiki and the game, Aura Kingdom.

Guidelines

There are not many guidelines to AKW Discord. The main rule is to have fun and chat with the members of the server. To ensure proper behavior within the channel, we must set some ground rules to create a controlled environment. These rule can be changed by an admin at any time without warning.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in termination from the Discord server. Unfitting behavior that the following rules do not cover will be moderated accordingly.

Exceptions apply in certain cases.

Be kind to each other: Respect others as you would expect others to treat you. Under no circumstances should you harass or, in other ways, disrespect another user.

Inappropriate content is not allowed: Pornography, intense* blood and gore, excessive* profanity, racism and discrimination, or any other types of inappropriate acts are not allowed on AKW Discord. The definition of intense/excessive in our terminology means "too much of". Please watch what you post and consider those around you within the Discord. If a member or members of the channel feel uncomfortable, you may be terminated from the Discord server.

Political and socially sensitive topics that is based from real life is not allowed: This rule does not apply to matters revolving the game. Even if the matter is presented gently, people's feelings may get hurt and this is not the right place to discuss such topics. If you really want to discuss this please take the issue into DMs (direct messages).

Do not be a nuisance in the community: Members who spam excessively to the point of irritating fellow users or generate hatred may result in a ban.

Do not post personal contact information: Address, phone number, etc. are not allowed in any chat. This is to protect your privacy.

Unsolicited advertisement is not allowed: Unsolicited advertisement to unapproved websites are not allowed as they can be potential malicious websites, or in other ways immoral or inappropriate. Please ask a Discord admin if you would like to post a website in that manner. Referencing a website is okay, as long as the site is not malicious. There are many noble causes and people who require assistance in the world, but this is not the place to post them in order to be fair to everyone. All official Aura Kingdom websites, including AKUS Discord, are approved websites.

Inviting unofficial bots is not allowed: Bots has to go through an admin or moderator first.

Do not impersonate: Impersonating another member is not allowed.

AKW Discord is PG-13: We are not responsible for the content posted within the Discord server. AKW Discord is PG-13. If you feel uncomfortable, please report the issue to a Discord admin immediately. Consider muting and/or blocking the member(s).

Keep it English: This is an English-speaking group, so please use English when discussing. It's allowed to use other languages if the context is appropriate.

Visitor role

The visitor role is handed arbitrarily to people who are not a wiki editor but actively partake in the Discord channel: Fresh and new visitors will remain without role until an admin and moderator decides to change this.

If a visitor goes inactive, the role will be removed: The role is removed when an admin or moderator deems so. It is possible to gain it back by being active again.

For visitors without role, inactivity without notice or lack of interaction in the channel will be grounds for removal: Pruning time limit is seven days, but if you don't show activity in our channels admins may kick out. Note that rejoining is still possible.
