Etymology
Kitami is based on White Tiger, one of the Four Symbols of the Chinese constellations together with Black Tortoise, Azure Dragon and Vermilion Bird. It represents the west and the autumn season.
The name 'Kitami' does not appear to have a particular etymology, but it may refer to the subprefecture in Hokkaido, Japan.
Trivia
- Prior to Kitami's western release, the game files localized her as White Fang.
