- "After the latest raid by the Sand Owl Bandits, Project Director Hayes has been scrutinizing our security efficiency. He didn't say anything. That's how I know he's unhappy with our work around here."
- "The bandits sound like a big deal, and our diminished numbers certainly don't help, but right now our biggest threat is the group of raging Moas outside of camp." Ben lets out a long sigh.
- "During the bandit raid we charged through the Moa's dwelling. We thought the things were pretty harmless, but after messing up their nesting grounds...well, they certainly seem to want to exact revenge upon us!"
- "No time for simple rookie tasks, here's your first mission: Fend off the Moas and prevent them from destroying camp. Don't want to Hayes to keep lookin' at me like that..." Ben shivers in his boots.

- Ben lets out another sigh. "Well, they started out as just a small group, nothing to worry about. Only stole a few things that we could easily replace. But now... they have a new leader who is leading them in a more aggressive manner."
- "Their latest wave of attacks have cost us dearly, both in supplies and in capable fighters. You should talk to Camilla, she might have something for you to do to help our injured."
