Dolan

"Use your brain, human; what benefit would we get from recklessly sapping the forest of its Life Energy? We don't want to live in a rotting, withered world!"
"Here, let me give you a chance to even begin to understand our lives. Deliver this energy amongst these three villagers."
"While you're at it, talk to them, and if they'll even speak with the likes of you, maybe, just maybe, you can understand us." Dolan thrusts into your hands a few things that look like energy cartridges.

In ProgressEdit

Dolan

"Stop dilly-dallying, the villagers need that energy!"

Talking to FarmerEdit

Farmer

"A Human, how rare is that, isn't it?"

Envoy

You hand the energy to the Dwarf farmer before you.

Farmer

"The supplies are finally here. Since the Oblitus Wood began to wither, we have been very short of energy in our village, and the robots we used to drive away monsters in the field are all silent."
"Now most fields are occupied by monsters, food stocks are getting dangerously low. If things go on like this, our situation will be dire."

Talking to MechanicEdit

Mechanic

The Dwarf standing before you is a Mechanic from Tafay Village. He looks troubled as you approach him.

Envoy

You tell him why you're here and give him the Mana.

Mechanic

"Thank you for everything you've done! Our village survives on a small amount of Mana every day. We use it to maintain the basic functions around town, but we don't know how much longer we can last like this."
"At present, most of our robots have stopped functioning. The ones that are still operational are being affected by a strange energy and have lost control, causing them to turn on us."

Envoy

You ask him about the robot in the Barren Well.

Mechanic

"We're worried about that too. Ever since the strange occurrences in the Oblitus Wood, the robots that ran out of energy stopped moving and were stored outside the village. After a while though, they started moving again and headed straight towards the Barren Well..."

Talking to JoraliEdit

Wounded Militiaman

"Ohhh..." The wounded Tafay Militiaman groans in pain.

Envoy

You hand the energy to an injured militiaman.

Wounded Militiaman

"Thank you, I know that the energy supply is getting tight. I didn't think that the Elder would let me activate the Healing Machine. Sigh, Elder Dolan was right, that place is really horrifying..."

Envoy

Remembering that Vincent mentioned arguing while he was scouting, you ask the militiaman how he came to be injured.

Jorali

"First, let me introduce myself. My name is Jorali. Our new Village Chief, Tobin, gathered the villagers and ventured to the east in search of a new energy source, despite our Elder's plea to not leave the village."
"There are two voices of power in the village: the Elder and the Chief. Elder Dolan thinks that it's too dangerous to follow the Chief outside the village, and has been advising us against it from the beginning..."
"I should have listened to Elder Dolan's advice! Something strange is going on out there...so I left. I was ambushed by beasts on the way back, and was lucky to escape with my life."

Completing the QuestEdit

Dolan

"That expression of concern on your face...so you did listen to my people? Then you must understand how much we rely on the Life Energy of the forest. The health of the forest is critical to our lives."

Envoy

You scratch your head awkwardly while apologizing to Dolan for falsely accusing Tafay Village.

Dolan

"With Oblitus Wood withering away, we can hardly power our machines. Right now, we only have enough energy to cover the bare minimum."
"We're with you on discovering what is sapping the Life Energy from the forest, but as you can see we're hardly getting by as it is. We just don't have enough energy to spare on investigations."
